Meet the Facilitator & Panelists:
- Dustin Seemann is currently the Assistant Superintendent in Beverly Hills, CA. Dustin has worked in K-12 and Higher Education for over 15 years. Throughout his professional career, he has served as a School Counselor, Club Advisor, Graduate Professor and now Assistant Superintendent. Dustin is passionate about creating opportunities for students to set achievable goals and give back to their communities while feeling supported by their school.
- Ms. Antoinette Rayburn is the director of secondary education and leadership at Kankakee High School for District 111. Throughout her 18 year career as an educator, she has served as the director of college and career readiness and student programs at Proviso Township High Schools, and has held administrator, school counselor and teacher positions.She believes each child is a unique individual who may require the assistance of a telescope to envision their future, a guide to create their path and an opportunity to thrive in an environment where they can grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially to become productive global citizens.
- Kerry Eberhardt is the Director of Programs at Morris County Vocational School District in New Jersey. She has 17 years of experience in secondary education, as a biology teacher, program coordinator, STEM supervisor, and currently director of CTE programs. As Director of Programs, Ms. Eberhardt focuses on delivering high-quality CTE programs for all MCVSD students. This entails ensuring all programs have work-based learning opportunities; business, industry, and post-secondary partnerships; opportunities for student organizations and competitions; industry-standard equipment, supplies, and facilities; relevant, standards-aligned curriculum; opportunities for certifications and articulated college credit; and experienced, qualified educators. She believes that having these key pillars in place for each program allows individual students to fully leverage CTE toward their personal goals and aspirations for their future.
- Lucille Flynn is a Curriculum Supervisor in the Career, Technical, Adult and Community Education department at Broward County Public Schools – the 6 the largest district in the nation. She has presided over the district’s internship program for the last 5 years. With a strong focus on business engagement and community partnership development, she and her team have placed over 1200 students in meaningful work-based learning experiences. Her goal is to build a culture of commitment whereby sbusiness leaders from all sectors know the value and return on investment of offering internship experiences to the next generation of local talent.
